It's Alive

If you haven't yet used the new Lane Cove Tunnel - have a go while it's still free! I've been using it to get to and from work since it opened - 80km/h and no traffic lights - Yesss! It cuts my travel time by about 10 minutes both ways. I tried Epping Road couple of weeks ago and it was like a ghost town - except with traffic lights and a 60km/h speed limit - Booo! I'm sure it'll be a different story when they start charging $2.50 each way to use it but until then I'm sold.

The weird thing with the new tunnel is that it breathes - a load rushing noise with gusts of wind that can knock the car around. It's alive!
